On 6th November 2015 it was registered as a not-for-profit entity under the Companies Act No. 29 of 1991 (Cap 89:01). Among the challenges that exist for the NCC are its ability to augment its resource base, sustain its services, mobilize groups and communities for advocacy campaigns on behalf of key marginalized populations and networks.
